Getting started

You upload a roster
A CSV of names and year groups, or an invite link your students use themselves. No student email address is required for under-16s — a guardian confirms instead.
They take the two-minute sorting quiz
Favourite subject, how they like to be challenged. Each student lands in one of the six Houses, balanced across your cohort so no single form group dominates.
The season runs itself
Missions release every Monday, competition rounds every month, promotion and relegation every three months. You open the dashboard when you want to know something — nothing on the platform needs you to run it.

What age group is this for?
Roughly 11 to 18. The Rookie and Bronze divisions are pitched at lower secondary; Gold and Champions reach genuine national-Olympiad difficulty. A single school can span the whole range — students are placed by performance, not by year group.
Do teachers have to run the competitions?
No. Rounds are scheduled, delivered and marked by the platform. Speed Rounds are auto-marked; Depth Rounds are scored against published rubrics by our editorial team. A teacher's only required action is keeping the roster current.
How do you stop cheating during a contest?
Problem statements aren't served until the round opens, submissions are rate-limited and duplicate-checked by semantic hashing, and submission patterns that deviate sharply from a student's baseline are flagged for review. An optional lockdown mode detects tab switching and copy-paste during a round. A confirmed case voids the score and demotes the student a division.
What happens to student data?
Under-16 accounts need guardian consent before they go live. We hold names, year group, and platform activity — no home addresses, no phone numbers. Export and deletion endpoints are available to the school admin at any time, and deletion is real deletion, not a flag.
Can we trial it before committing budget?
Yes. Students can use the free tier — two competitions and three missions a month, plus a House — indefinitely and at no cost, which is enough to see whether a cohort engages. School features unlock when you're ready. Get in touch and we'll set up a pilot cohort for a season.
Which subjects are covered?
Mathematics, Physics, Coding/CS, Science and Logic/Puzzle. Every weekly mission deliberately spans at least two of them, which is where a lot of the value sits — students who are strong in one subject meet another through a problem they actually want to solve.
